Blueprint (the company behind the “Don’t Die” Bryan Johnson movement) raised $60M this week and from a slew of entrepreneurs who don’t lose (when it comes to money).
I told you I was an early Theranos fan (tiny amounts of blood replacing full blood draws? Count me in!), and this has a slight twinge of snake oil to it (they literally sell an Olive Oil called, wait for it…..”Snake Oil”) BUT the promise of the highly tested, highly vetted products that actually have benefit and the wraparound opportunity of personalized labs and testings and data or as they call it the “Health OS” for Health Operating System that will help us all not die is pretty exciting. The not dying part may be more attention grabbing, but the idea of living 100 healthy years from doing some basic things (solid sleep, sufficient nutrition, etc) is a cause worthy of being the One Good Thing.
Rooting for All the Good Things,
Alex Maiersperger
